MOLLE is an acronym which means Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. It is the present load-bearing system that is utilized by the United States Army. The MOLLE system is a replacement to the ALICE (All-purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) system. It was launched in 1997 but its use was not prevalent until after the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001.
The MOLLE system is a totally integrated system which is comprised of a load bearing vest along with butt pack, main ruck that has sustainable pouches and also a compartment to carry a sleeping bag. The load bearing vest is worn at all times and contains pockets to carry hand grenade or magazine. There is a device that is fixed to the vest which is invented to enable the peripheral frame of the main ruck to attach to the waist belt on the vest. This is very useful in conveying the load from the shoulders to the hips in order to enable easier carrying and less tiredness. One of the main parts of the MOLLE system is the nylon mesh vest. This vest is armed with removable pockets that can be used to sustain the different carrying needs that are faced in the military. The MOLLE has different modifications so much so that each partner of a squad has one to fit his peculiar needs.
The MOLLE system has progressed in load-bearing abilities. It has a new suspension system along with heavily-padded, adjustable shoulder straps to make carrying easier and more comfortable. The waist belt is also adjustable to different lengths so that more weight is concentrated at the shoulders and the hips. The MOLLE has a Fighting Load Carrier (FLC) which increases the amount of ammunition a soldier can carry and is created in such a way that the weight is spread over the torso. Three flap pockets on the FLC can each accommodate two 30-round magazines. There are also two canteen pouches. One advantage that the MOLLE system has over the ALICE system is the absence of the metal clips or hooks. These can make carrying a lot more complicated as they sometimes dig into the soldier’s skin. The vest on the MOLLE also comes with a H-Harness in the back which diminishes the build up of heat.
All the other large pouches on the MOLLE have D-rings for carrying them with a sling and are structured with plastic windows that are invisible so soldiers do not have to mark their individual MOLLE. The system has two six-foot straps used to carry large objects and also a repair kit with supplies for any simple repairs. Every MOLLE comes with a tube to supply water on the move.
Many alterations have been made to some sections of the initial MOLLE and have led to the development of MOLLE II. MOLLE equipment is available from the US Calvary Store, Amazon and other suppliers of military equipment.
Your home may be the most important asset you own and defending it is critically important. One of the unsurpassed methods of protecting your home particularly from intruders is by installing a burglar alarm system. Today’s systems are affordable and very much successful. Although there are no burglar proof alarm systems, a good alarm system will help detect and put off burglars. A burglar alarm system is a complex equipment that is equipped with sensors and a low-voltage power system that is controlled by a main panel. If or when the system’s signals are interfered with, the alarm goes off either causing loud noise to scare the burglar away or it transmits signals to the monitoring company who will then dispatch police to the scene (depending on the system installed). The Burglar alarms have become common in businesses and of course private homes. An effective burglar alarm system should accurately identify the correct signal to use to foster speedy response.
The most common alarm systems are Glass Break Detectors, Surface Door contacts, Garage Door contacts and Heat and Smoke Detectors. According to the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), the best alarm system protects the total perimeter of a home. This is referring to every window, door or anywhere entry can be made into the home and areas inside where valuables are stored. A simple home protection alarm system is a closed circuit loop system where contacts on doors and windows are installed.
There are numerous alternatives to contemplate when you need an alarm system. They range from simple do-it-yourself kits to complex systems that have to be installed by professionals in the field. However, all burglar alarm systems are manufactured with the same goal and that is to detect burglars.
Many alarm companies install a local alarm system that is also monitored by the company. These alarms ring a bell; sound a siren or buzzer on the premises. These are commonly used for residential purposes. These are useful in discouraging burglars as any burglar would be frightened by the sound of loud noise that calls attention to him. This type of alarm system is useful if you live in apartment building or if you reside in an area where the neighbourhood watch plays an active role.
Some companies provide central reporting alarms. In this case, signals are discreetly sent to the firms’ headquarters so that they can dispatch police or in some cases, their own alarm agents. Sometimes a direct alarm is attached to the local police or fire department. This type of system is suitable if you live in a quiet area where there are few neighbours and if you travel a lot.
When purchasing a burglar alarm system, take these factors into concern:
1. What the system monitors
2. Ease of use for not just you but others in the home
3. Cost of purchasing the system plus set-up costs. Monitoring systems will have a monthly fee attached.
Acids and bases are the terms that are used by chemists to sort chemicals based on their pH levels. An acid is any matter that surrenders a hydrogen ion in solution. On the other hand, a base is any matter that creates a hydroxide ion in solution. However, there are many different theories by different theorists describing acids and bases. Some of them are summarized below:
In the seventeenth century, Robert Boyle first sorted material as either acids or bases. He used the following characteristics to decide whether a matter is acid or base.
Acids Bases
Taste sour Feel slippery
Corrosive to metals Taste bitter
Change litmus red Change litmus blue
Become less acidic when mixed Become less basic when mixed
with Bases with acids
According to Svante Arrhenius:
Acids produce H ions in aqueous solutions
Bases produce OH ions in aqueous solutions
According to Johannes Nicolaus Bronsted & Thomas Martin Lowry:
Acids are proton contributors
Bases are proton receptors
According to Newton Lewis:
Acids are electron pair receptors
Bases are electron pair donors
Considering the various theories, what exactly are acids?
1. The word acid is derived from the Latin acere which means sour. Acids taste sour.
2. They change litmus from blue to red.
3. They react with bases to form salts and water
4. Upon reaction with an active metal such as zinc and aluminum, they evolve hydrogen gas.
5. They are electrolytes
6. They are corrosive (burns your skin)
7. Acids have a pH less than 7
8. They react with carbonates to form carbon dioxide
What exactly are bases?
1. They taste bitter.
2. They are soapy or slippery
3. Bases don’t change the colour of litmus but they can turn acidified (red) litmus to blue.
4. Like acids, they are electrolytes
5. They react with acids to form salts and water.
6. They are also corrosive
7. Has pH of more than 7
Many acids and bases are very well-known common as we use them in our everyday lives. Many industries include the use of acids and bases in their processes to produce many consumer goods.
Examples of acids are:
1. Citric acid – this is present in many fruits and vegetables especially citrus fruits like lemons and oranges.
2. Ascorbic acid or Vitamin C which is found in certain fruits
3. Vinegar (acetic acid)
4. Carbonic acid – used in the manufacture of soft drinks
5. Lactic acid that is found in buttermilk.
6. Hydrochloric acid in gastric juices
7. Sulphuric acid
8. Uric acid found in urine
9. Tannic acid in teas and wines
10. Tartaric acid found in grapes
Examples of bases are:
1. Detergents and cleaning agents
2. Soap
3. Lye
4. Household ammonia
5. Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda)
6. Calcium hydroxide (limewater)
7. Magnesium hydroxide or milk of magnesia
8. Bleaches
9. Toothpaste
This Authentic Mexican soup encompasses all the foods that are most commonly known as Mexican food. Salsa, avocado, cilantro and fresh hot tortilla chips are all included in tortilla soups. Below is a typical tortilla soup recipe with ingredients and method for preparation.

Reflex sights are defined as an optical device which reflects a reticule image or set of images such as a crosshair onto a target so that someone can clearly identify where on the target object your device is pointing. Reflex sights should not be confused with laser sights, which actually sends a beam of light directly onto a target. Reflex sights are used by both persons within a military organization as well as civilians in order to quickly acquire their targets. In the military, reflex sights are more commonly used as a non-magnifying firearm sights. While civilians use reflex sights for playing in games like paintball, air soft and IPSC.
A reflex sight can be mounted at any length away from the eye without enlarging the picture of the target object and at almost any angle, without allowing the image to become distorted or reticle, and without causing the crosshair image to move relative to the target. Depending on how the reflex sight is produced, the distance of the target, and the magnitude of angle at which it is looked into can disrupt the judgment of the person’s aim, even though this rarely occur. If the shooter does not enlarge the picture through the reflex sights then the viewer is able to see a hypothetically parallax-free image of the reticle, shown around the target area. Un-magnified reflex sights are particularly a suitable installment when being used for targets over a short distance when they are used on pistols, submachine guns, and shotguns.
Persons who use the reflex sights normally use use both eyes, but this does not hinder the shooters ability to aim at the target and still have a normal perception of where the object target actually is. The brain will allow the dominant eye lead with an unobstructed view of the target object. This makes it possible for persons to aim and shoot quickly at target objects in comparison to iron sights and telescopes.
There are three different types of reflex sights, open sights, full tube sights and small tube sights. Open sights which are also referred to as a mini reflex sights needs works with only one reflective surface. Generally it is lighter than full tube sights and don’t come equipped with filters and other accessory options. Full tube sights are constructed with a cylindrical tube that contains an optic glass which looks similar to a standard telescope sight. Some even give you with the capability of changing out the filters like the haze reducing filters. Small tube sights on is otherwise able to change the filter and sunshade attachments. Reflex sights can also be used to aid targeting on other devices like telescopes and point-and-shoot digital cameras and are also used in games such as animal hunting and target shooting.

A Constitutional Amendment is a modification made to the constitution of a country. The constitution of a country consists of rulings that are officially put into place through the parliament of a state that are implemented to govern the general populous. In order for these amendments to be made, there are special measures that need to be employed, which can sometimes require different procedures from that which is put into place everyday laws. A constitutional amendment has to be validated by a submission through either the members of the legislature system or by the request of certain citizen’s association. However, some amendments can only be achieved with the direct approval of the electorate in a referendum.
The terms of a constitutional amendment may vary from country to country. In some states the laws require that a constitutional amendment must be agreed upon by the governing body of a country on two counts wihtin two separate but consecutive terms, and is done through a general election. The proceedings of the legislature is then suspended to allow a general election whenever it is being adopted for the first time. This is done in sovereign states such as Denmark, The Netherlands, Iceland and Norway and in individual states in America like Iowa, Vermont and Wisconsin.
In countries like the US three quarters of the legislature body have to agree upon an amendment in the constitution before it can be formally put into practice. In states like Switzerland, Canada and Australia, different requirements apply. In Canada, after a proposition is made by the members of parliament then the consent of a provincial legislature is needed. While in Switzerland and Australia, a constitutional amendment has to be approved by a majority of electorates including separate majority votes in each canton within the country.
Many countries also merge a series of different elements from each amendment procedure. In cases like the French, their constitution amendment system is arranged out of one or two procedures. It can either be done by a majority vote or by a referendum. In the U.S. Commonwealth of Massachusetts a constitutional amendment has to be made by a special majority of legislature during two back to back terms which is then sent to a referendum for a final approval.
In Austria, the Constitutional settings are much more moderate in regards to the recording of constitutional amendments. Almost any piece of parliamentary legislation can be selected as constitutional law if there is a majority vote by the required entity is made and other dealings for a change in constitution are fulfilled. An amendment may take the form of a change of the centerpiece of the constitution, a change to another constitutional act, the B-VG, a new constitutional act, or a part of the legislative rules in a non-constitutional act.

Chicken is a tasty, nutritious and multifaceted choice when it comes to organising a menu. You may cook chicken in a variety of methods, but one of the simplest and healthiest techniques is to bake it. You can bake an entire chicken, or if you are lacking time, chicken pieces like breasts, thighs, legs, and wings will be fine.
What Will You Need?
Roughly 2 to 3 lb chicken, cut up
Freshly ground salt and pepper
Dried or fresh herbs like rosemary, tarragon, thyme, or oregano
Marinade (optional)
Olive oil or non-stick cooking spray
Roasting pan
Meat thermometer
Preparing the Chicken for the Oven
First thing you must always do when you cook chicken is to clean the chicken then pat it gently, until dry. If you are going to use a marinade, you will be required to marinate your chicken the night before. A great marinade to use is Italian dressing. Place the chicken in a shallow bowl or plastic bag with a zip-lock, and spread the marinade or Italian dressing over the pieces. seal tightly and marinate over night in the refrigerator.
Preparing to Cook
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Take your roasting pan and coat lightly with olive oil or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Remove the chicken out of the marinade if you have use one, and place the chicken skin side up in the roasting pan. Sprinkle salt and pepper and any of the other herbs you would like to use. If you are using a marinade, you will not need to season the chicken so much.
Cooking the Chicken
Put the chicken into the oven and bake for 50 minutes. Do not conceal the chicken. To check whether it is finish or not, use a meat thermometer to ascertain the temperature. If you are preparing chicken breasts, the thermometer should read 170ºF, and for thighs, it should read 180ºF. Always be certain that you put in the meat thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken.
Making Sure That Your Chicken is Suitable To Eat
Eating pink chicken that is under cooked is not advised. If you are still unsure whether your chicken is fully cooked or not, take a knife and cut through the thickest part of the chicken. When the juices run clear and the meat is no longer pink, your chicken is ready to serve.
Your calorie intake will be dependent on a few factors inclusive of your activity levels, age, gender, your weight gain or weight loss goal and your general health. If you are not certain how many calories are required, you may use a calorie calculator to determine what is appropriate for you. There are many calorie calculators online that will provide you with an exact figure. They are very easy to use and require you to enter a few fields to obtain your calculation.
For example if you are 5 feet 4 inches, 24 years old, weigh 120 pounds and lead a sedentary lifestyle you will get the results 1537 calories per day. It will also give you additional information about your calorie intake if you have a desire to lose weight. Some calculators may give you an additional calculation if you would also like to gain weight.
If you wish to perform the calculations yourself then you may opt to use the Harris Benedict equation which will calculate your BMR or Basal Metabolic Rate.
The formula is displayed below; the pound or metric standard may be used:
English
BMR Formula Women: BMR = 655 + ( 4.35 x weight in pounds ) + ( 4.7 x height in inches ) – ( 4.7 x age in years )
Men: BMR = 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds ) + ( 12.7 x height in inches ) – ( 6.8 x age in year )
Metric
BMR Formula Women: BMR = 655 + ( 9.6 x weight in kilos ) + ( 1.8 x height in cm ) – ( 4.7 x age in years )
Men: BMR = 66 + ( 13.7 x weight in kilos ) + ( 5 x height in cm ) – ( 6.8 x age in years )
Subsequently if we used the previous example, then the calculated amount would be very similar:
655 + (4.35 x 120) + (4.7 x 64) – (4.7 x 24) = 655 + 522 + 300.8 + 112.8 = 1590.6 calories per day.
Whenever you are calculating your caloric needs be certain that you are entering accurate information. This means that you should have your height and weight measured prior to carrying out these calculations. Weigh yourself upon waking so that you are able to obtain a true reflection of your weight. During the course of the day your weight will appear to fluctuate with fluid and food consumption. Remember that regardless of your weight goals you should not eat less than 1200 calories per day unless that has been stipulated by your doctor. Your regular diet should contain healthy foods including: whole grain breads, vegetables and fruits. Though fats are important to your diet they should be consumed in small portions. A balanced diet consisting of the right nutrients will give you more energy and will improve your overall health.
