Progesterone Side Effects
Some of the low progesterone symptoms are expected and are not a reason for alarm, i.e. they fade away with time. However, if more serious indications like sudden lapses in memory, bouts of violent or angry behavior, prolonged patches of depression and memory loss occur, a healthcare practitioner should be immediately contacted.
Some progesterone side effects are considered rare since they are quite severe but have been reported minimally. This includes swelling in the feet and hands, severe burning sensation when urinating, small dark patches on the skin and lumps in the breast.
